Standards and Assessment

 

As a Member of The NFSH The Healing Trust I am part of the largest healing charity in the United Kingdom, which has been established since 1954 with in excess of 4000 members. I have undertaken a programme of training making up the Foundation Award which is a unique and definitive Course.

The Foundation Course incorporates the fundamental principles of the Competence Framework as devised by the Confederation of Healing Organisations with NFSH The Healing Trust. This was developed as a standard of best practice for healers.  

The Competence Framework is designed to form the basis of a National Occupational Standard (NOS) as
Governments move towards the ‘regularisation’ of complementary and alternative therapies, making them acceptable to the public at large – and to the medical profession.

 NFSH The Healing Trust Foundation Course amply meets the Standards for healer training set by UK Healers. Entry to NFSH The Healing Trust Healer Membership is dependent on demonstrating competence via successful completion of this Course.

The organisation is not associated with any religion, -ism or –ology. It does see the source of healing as Divine, but respects the right of every individual to his or her own interpretation of that Source.
